2. What data does Pathprint process?

2.1 HealthKit Data (Workout Routes)

With your explicit permission, Pathprint reads workout routes from Apple's Health app (HealthKit). This includes GPS coordinates, timestamps, workout type, and distance from your Health database.

• This data never leaves your device.
• It is processed and stored exclusively on your device (using SwiftData).
• You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings under "Privacy & Security → Health".

2.2 Location Data (OpenStreetMap / Overpass API)

To display street networks on the map, Pathprint sends anonymous area queries to the public Overpass API by OpenStreetMap.

• Only an approximate map area (bounding box) is transmitted — no personal data, no device identifier, no GPS position.
• The Overpass API is operated by the OpenStreetMap project and is freely and publicly accessible.

2.3 In-App Purchase (StoreKit 2)

Payments are handled entirely by Apple and the App Store. Pathprint has no access to payment data. No credit card data or purchase information is stored or processed by the app. Apple's privacy policy applies to all App Store transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy/

3. No Data Sharing with Third Parties

Pathprint operates no backend, no servers, and no remote database. No personal data is transmitted to third parties, except for the anonymous map queries to OpenStreetMap (see 2.2) and purchase processing by Apple (see 2.3).

4. Analytics & Tracking

Pathprint uses no analytics or tracking tools (no Firebase Analytics, no Adjust, no SDKs for usage tracking). No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are accessed.

5. Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all data stored by Pathprint at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data via iOS Settings.

6. Your Rights

Since Pathprint does not process personal data on its own servers, the standard GDPR rights of access, rectification, or deletion are not applicable to us — all data resides on your own device and is therefore entirely under your control.

7. Children

Pathprint is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app requires HealthKit access, for which parental or guardian consent is necessary.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed, for example when new app features are introduced or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last modified.
